CIRCULATION POLICY
Books may be checked out for a three-week loan period. Items can be renewed up to two times.
Students may check out up to three books at a time.
If you have overdue items or a late fine over $1.00, you may not check out materials.
Students are responsible for paying late fines and/or the cost of lost items.
Overdue material lists will be printed each month. Please check with the librarian if you owe something.
EXPECTATIONS OF BEHAVIOR
Please do not move chairs, tables, or other furniture from their current locations.
Please push in your chairs when you leave.
Dispose of any trash you have created while in the library.
Absolutely no food or drink will be allowed in the library.
Cell phones may not be used while in the library.
In order to come to the library without a class, you must have a pass from your teacher. Passes from substitutes will not be accepted as of January 16, 2014.
COMPUTER USAGE
Computers must be used in accordance to the LCPS computer use policy. If you are caught doing something not acceptable in the computer use policy, your privileges will be suspended.
Library headphones may be used in the library ONLY.
Laptops and iPads cannot be checked out to individual students. They must be checked out to the teachers. However, students may use the laptops in the library.
OTHER POLICIES
If you pull a book off a shelf, but do not want to check it out, please place it on the blue book cart by the circulation desk. Do NOT place it back on the shelves.
Please treat all materials and the library with respect.
Keep your hands to yourself.
You may not cut through the library, unless you have been given permission by the librarian.
Do not walk behind the circulation desk.
The trashcan is located near the computers.
